CRANIAL PROCEDURES COMMONLY PERFORMED INCLUDE:
CRANIOTOMY - Standard Open (multiple approaches for resection of brain tumors, surgical treatment of aneurysms, evacuation of intra-cerebral hematomas and many other conditions)

ENDOSCOPIC ENDONASAL SKULL BASE (For resection of lesions of anterior skull base, orbit, cavernous sinus, brain stem and pituitary gland)
CRANIECTOMY
(Example: Occipital Craniectomy for Chiari I malformation; requires a dural patch.
Craniectomy for acute treatment of ischemic CVA)
STEREOTACTIC RADIOSURGERY - In addition to all of the surgical procedures described above, Dr. Marsella can provide stereotactic radiosurgery as adjunct to the management for many of the above listed conditions (Brain tumors, AVMs, Trigeminal Neuralgia)
